📍 OUR ORGANIC FARMS · THRISSUR · KERALA

The lacy aril fromour own Thrissur farms.

"Mace is the bright red, lacy outer covering of the nutmeg seed — a single tree produces both spices. Unlike most Indian mace which is sourced from various small farms, ours comes from a single estate — our Naturish Organic Farms at Thrissur, Kerala. Grown organically under shade canopy, without chemical fertilisers or pesticides. Each aril is hand-peeled from the nutmeg, sun-dried for three days at the farm, and graded by colour intensity. Premium blades — bright orange, intact, fragrant — are what reach you. Single estate. Single harvest. Single standard."

Intensity & aroma profile

Warm, nutty, slightly sweet.

"Mace sits between nutmeg and cinnamon — warmer than the first, more delicate than the second. Grown organically on our Naturish Organic Farms at Thrissur, every blade is harvested at peak ripeness and dried slowly to preserve the gentle, rounded aroma. It's the secret ingredient in great garam masala, the warmth in a Mughlai biryani, and the lift in a béchamel sauce. Use sparingly — a single blade goes a long way."
