A beginning rooted in courage
In the year 1965, VM Raghavan made a life-changing decision that would quietly shape the journey of generations to come. Leaving behind the familiar surroundings of Guruvayur, he moved to Thiroor, Thadaparambu with a dream deeply connected to independence, farming, and meaningful living.
At that time, he was working at Voltas in Mumbai, holding a stable and respected position. Yet somewhere within him existed a stronger calling — the desire to build something of his own while remaining connected to the land, nature, and traditional values that shaped his identity.
Rather than continuing the comfort of city life, he chose a path filled with uncertainty, hard work, and long-term vision. It was not simply a business decision. It was an emotional return to roots.
