A beginning rooted in courage

In the year 1965, VM Raghavan made a life-changing decision that would quietly shape the journey of generations to come. Leaving behind the familiar surroundings of Guruvayur, he moved to Thiroor, Thadaparambu with a dream deeply connected to independence, farming, and meaningful living.

At that time, he was working at Voltas in Mumbai, holding a stable and respected position. Yet somewhere within him existed a stronger calling — the desire to build something of his own while remaining connected to the land, nature, and traditional values that shaped his identity.

Rather than continuing the comfort of city life, he chose a path filled with uncertainty, hard work, and long-term vision. It was not simply a business decision. It was an emotional return to roots.

Chapter Two · The Land

A deep connection with farming

Even during those early years, VM Raghavan carried a strong interest toward natural farming and traditional cultivation practices. Long before the modern world began speaking about organic living and sustainability, he believed in respecting the soil and living in harmony with nature.

For him, farming was never merely about crops or income. It was about patience, discipline, responsibility, and preserving the purity of the land for future generations.

Slowly, across the lands of Thiroor, he built a strong agricultural foundation for the family. Coconut trees were planted carefully over the years. Alongside them came black pepper vines, mace, cloves, and several traditional crops connected deeply to Kerala's agricultural heritage.

Each tree represented patience.

Each crop carried responsibility.

Each season taught discipline.

Chapter Three · Childhood

Growing up among the fields

Childhood unfolded not inside busy cities, but among coconut groves, plantations, seasonal rains, and the quiet rhythm of Kerala village life.

Watching parents work in the fields created a deep and lasting emotional connection toward farming and nature. The memories were simple, yet powerful — early mornings in the farm, the smell of wet soil after monsoon rain, workers moving through plantations, and evenings filled with stillness beneath rows of coconut trees.

The farm never felt separate from life itself. It became part of everyday existence. Slowly, farming started becoming more than observation. It became learning.

There were lessons in everything:

  • How to plant coconut trees properly
  • How to nourish the soil at the right season
  • How much watering young trees required
  • How to fertilize carefully and patiently
  • How to observe leaves, climate, rain, and the land itself

The farm never felt separate from life itself. It became part of everyday existence.

Chapter Four · Beyond the Farm

A journey beyond farming

As life moved forward, new chapters began unfolding beyond the fields of Kerala. After graduation, the journey expanded into sports and professional life.

For nearly twelve years, life was deeply connected with professional athletics. Sports brought discipline, endurance, mental strength, and the ability to persist through challenges.

Over time, attention gradually shifted toward education, technology, and professional growth. This eventually led into the world of IT and business consulting — across India, Europe, the United States, and several Asian countries.

Yet despite traveling across continents, one emotional connection never disappeared — the connection toward the roots of Kerala.

Chapter Five · The Quiet Pull

A passion that never left

No matter how far life moved professionally, the memories of the farms in Thiroor remained alive.

The coconut trees planted decades earlier, the pepper vines climbing through the plantations, the fragrance of spices, the simplicity of life connected to nature — all continued to remain deeply present within.

Even while building a career in global consulting and technology, there was always a fascination toward farming, coconut oil, spices, and the dream of creating something meaningful from those roots.

It was never merely about commerce. It was about preserving identity, values, purity, and the emotional connection between generations and the land that shaped them.

True authenticity and purity often remain closest to one's origins.

Chapter Six · New York

Moving to the United States

As part of the professional journey, life eventually moved to the United States, settling in New York City.

The experience opened doors to global business culture, advanced technology systems, international exposure, and modern professional environments. Yet even while living in New York, emotionally there remained a strong attachment toward Kerala's farming culture, simplicity, and traditions.

The contrast between modern corporate life abroad and the peaceful agricultural roots back home slowly created a deeper realization — that true authenticity and purity often remain closest to one's origins.

Chapter Seven · The Founding

The birth of Naturish Elite

Naturish Elite was not created merely as a company. It became an emotional continuation of a journey that had quietly begun decades earlier in the fields of Thiroor.

The vision behind Naturish Elite was rooted in carrying forward values shaped across generations — purity, authenticity, patience, respect for nature, and responsibility toward quality.

It became a meeting point between traditional agricultural heritage and modern global understanding.

Chapter Eight · The Next Generation

The journey across generations

What makes Naturish meaningful is not only its products, but the continuity of values carried across generations.

The same entrepreneurial spirit and fascination toward meaningful creation slowly began appearing within the next generation as well.

Growing up while observing the evolution of Naturish Elite, the younger generation naturally developed an interest toward entrepreneurship, farming traditions, nature, and the vision behind the brand.

Currently pursuing graduation in the United States, the next generation is also actively involved in Naturish activities — learning and contributing while continuing education and preparing for the future.

2023

On May 22nd, Naturish Elite was founded.

Years of experiences, inherited agricultural wisdom, global exposure, and emotional connection toward farming slowly came together with a single vision.
