Benefits
Why families switch
Pressed cold, never heated
Pressed at low temperature so the oil keeps its natural coconut aroma and taste.
Certified organic
Processed at our NPOP-certified unit from organically grown Kerala coconuts.
Nothing added, nothing removed
Unrefined. Not bleached, not deodorised. One ingredient on the label.

How our oil is made.
Four steps, in the order they happen, with the limits stated rather than hidden.
-
Harvested by hand
From our own grove at Kolazhy and trusted farmers in the Thrissur region, picked at ripeness. Not bought on the open market.
-
Dried under controlled electric heat
The kernel is dried into copra in our own drying units, where temperature and time are held steady rather than left to the weather. No sun drying, no contamination risk.
-
Wood-pressed at the chekku mill
Slow wood-pressing with no heat added at the press. The speed is the point - speed creates heat, and heat changes the aroma. Steady for everyday Kerala cooking.
-
Filtered naturally
Settled and filtered. No bleaching, no deodorising, nothing added. The batch is written into the record before it is bottled.
One thing we will not pretend about: Bullocks turned the original chekku. Today the same wood press is electric-driven. Same press, same slow speed, no heat added - but it is turned by a motor, and we would rather tell you than let you find out.

Our story
We are from a farming family
What was lost, we chose to rebuild.
Our family has farmed coconuts in Kerala since 1965. We grew up where mornings smelled of wet earth, and we ate what we grew.
Years later, the coconut oil we found on shelves no longer smelled like the oil from home. So we went back to the old way — pressing cold, keeping it pure.
That is Naturish Elite. A return to how it used to be: natural, full, honest.

FAQ
Questions, answered
How is cold-pressed different from refined oil?
It is pressed without heat and is not bleached or deodorised, so it keeps its natural coconut aroma and taste.
What does it contain?
100% organic coconut oil. Nothing else is added.
Can I cook with it every day?
Yes — it suits sautéing, tempering, frying and everyday Kerala cooking on medium heat.
Why has my oil turned solid?
Coconut oil naturally solidifies below about 24°C. Warm the bottle gently and it turns liquid again — quality is not affected.
Can I use it on hair and skin?
It is traditionally used to nourish hair and soften skin. For external use, patch-test first.
